Do you sell tickets at the door?
All tickets for Des Moines Whiskey Fest will be sold in advance. There will be no tickets available at the door.
Will there be a coat check?
Yes, there will be complimentary coat check located in the General Admission area.
Are there any COVID-19 restrictions I should be aware of?
Currently, there are no COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Des Moines Whiskey Fest will be following guidelines set forth by the city of Des Moines. We will notify you if anything changes.
What is the attire for the event?
Dress to impress and be you. Please check out the photos from last year’s event for examples of guest attire.
Will food be served at the event?
Yes, there will be an app station in the VIP area, also food stations located near the general admission area.
Will the spirits representatives and distillers be at the event?
The distillers or a local representative will be present at the tables all day and will be on-hand to answer questions and discuss their whiskies with guests.
Can I purchase spirits at the event?
No, there will not be any purchases at the event from the vendor, but the representatives will be able to tell you where you can purchase them. There will be over 10 bars located onsite with a mixture of 20 specialty cocktails.
Will there be a bar to drink anything besides whiskey?
YES! There is 3 bars in the general admission area. 2 bars in the VIP and 2 more in the Speakeasy area.
Will you have Designate Driver tickets?
At this time we do not offer this.
Where can I park?
We highly encourage Lyft, Uber and other ride sharing/cab systems for the event. If you choose to book a room at Surety Hotel there will be a shuttle service to take you to the event and back to the hotel. Paid parking will be available MLK Parking Lot.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! We can't run Whiskey Fest without our trusty volunteer team. Please visit our volunteer page to submit your interest.
Do I need a ticket for the speakers
No. All guest speakers are included with your ticket purchase. Along with concerts and games too.
